Zion's Park Hike!!!

Well Saturday we finally got to Zion's to go hiking back up where McKay proposed to me a year ago! We invited my family to come with us as part of a Easter activity!
.
The whole day there was rain on and off and very cloudy skies! We were trying to debate whether to go or not and decided to drive out there and see how the weather was then! As we got closer it seemed like it would be a good day!
.
We exited the shuttle at our stop and it was sprinkling a little but nothing was going to stop us now! We started the hike to the Emerald Pools! It only sprinkled for about 5 mintues and then stopped and the rest of the hike was absolutely beautiful! It could not have been a better day! On our way up the first pool and waterfall we got to wasn't very big but on the way down it had like tripled in size if not bigger than that! It was so cool to see the difference and be able to compare the pictures from the way up and the way down! The middle pool seemed to be the same as last year but the most changes happened when we hit the upper pool and waterfall! The place he got down on his knee was now covered with water and the waterfall was lots bigger! I couldn't believe how much more water was there this year!!!The first year there... April 5th, 2008Right behind us on the light colored sand to the right of this picture is where McKay proposed last year and as you can see this year is all covered with water!!!
.
We all really enjoyed it and McKay and I were excited to share the memories of the last time we were there! Such good times! Thanks family for coming with us! We loved having you there!
