This kid is 5! Like when did this happen? I still am having a hard time knowing I have a 5 year old on my hands! His birthday was March 12th and birthdays in our house are a big deal! Mom tells them Happy Birthday 100 hundred times a day, we usually try to do something as a family, some activity, go out to eat, I decorate the house and then try and do cake and ice cream with our extended family and sometimes we do them all at once! Sometimes we party for a whole week! Carter is lucky and his birthday is always during spring break so Mom and Dad have more time at home than usual!
This birthday we ate at Chili's earlier in the week and and watched a movie! Then on his actual birthday we had a swim party!
Singing Happy Birthday to him! It took him a bit to recognize we were singing to him!
Once it registered he jumped right up and happy to see us holding presents!
