-Grandpa Wallin's Funeral-

On September 22, 2018 we celebrated the life of an amazing Father, Husband, Grandpa, Friend, Uncle, Brother and Son
My Dad was a gentle and loving GIANT! He was the best listener, always had great advice, dumb Dad jokes were his specialty and he loved his family more than anything!
It was amazing the strength we had to get through this weekend from all the love and prayers that were coming our way. Through all the sad their was also so much happiness and togetherness between the family and looking back on memories from over the years. Going through pictures, his life and accomplishments were almost therapeutic.
We had a viewing Friday night. No we didn't sit in birth order
Starting with my Mom on the left, Me, Adam, Isaac and Samantha
Our birth order from oldest to youngest goes Adam, Me, Samantha and Isaac
His Jones Family
Some of the beautiful flowers!
My beautiful, amazing, strong, supportive Mother!
Saturday we had a viewing and then the funeral at 11.
The service was amazing, I gave the eulogy, Adam and Sam shared some stories and Isaac went on the more spiritual side of things! The grandkids sang a song that was so very touching and each their favorite memory or story of Grandpa! Everyone did incredible! The spirit was so strong and the love felt was touching.
The pallbearers taking the casket out to the car.
My Dad's parents with all their great grandkids!
The displays...
All the teams he coached over the years he worked at the highschool from basketball, football, softball and track! He touched so many students and athletes lives over the years and everyone loved him!
Some of the most beautiful flowers we had displayed...
After the graveside we headed back to the church and had a luncheon with all the family and friends, it was great to visit with everyone and have the time together.
This group are friends he grew up with through elementary and junior high school and some he played basketball with!
After we went back to my Mom's place and relaxed for a while my Mom and her kids went back to the cemetery to just talk and look at everything once they lowered the casket. The flowers really were beautiful!
We all miss him incredibly much but I am so happy for this Gospel and the knowledge I have that we will be able to be with him again. It was a great service and was great to celebrate his life. If I could be half the person he was I'd be so blessed.
