One of Our families Christmas traditions is opening their Christmas package on the 1st of December! The kids love it and have fun and it kinda kick starts the Holiday for us!
The packages change a little year to year but things they will find are new PJ's, a book, a movie, a treat, and our Christmas countdown of scriptures and activities leading up to Christmas Day!

Don't they look so cute in their jammies! I couldn't get a great pic of the 3 of them but I tried!
My favorite part is our countdown! We have short scripture passages that tell the story of Jesus being born or events that Jesus took part in as he grew up! We read every night and most days but not all we have an activity! We make treats, watch a movie, make a craft, have an outing and we love it! It helps us remember the Reason for the Season but also have a little fun!

That's a good idea to have them open their p.j's on the first. I always want to get them Christmas pajamas but it seems pointless when we give them to the kids on Christmas Eve.
