Happy 2nd!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HADLEE!!!
Yesterday was Hadlee's Birthday and she turned 2! We can't believe it has been two years! It is sad to say but it seems like a dream! We miss her everyday.... we know she is in a better place and that she had better things to do on the other side!
I know you guys won't believe this... but it is true... but we know Carter knows her and loves her! We have a photo album and a couple pictures of her around the house and he will always go get them smile and talk to her and give her kisses and he will always want us to flip through the pages of the photo album and he just loves that! We will say her name and he perks up and smiles! It is the sweetest thing!

The beginning of our family!

Look at ALL that hair! No wonder Carter is bald!
We love to go visit her! Carter will just play around her headstone and jabber away like he is telling her all about how weird his Mom and Dad are! We are so thankful to those that went and put balloons and flowers on her grave... I get so overwhelmed by their kindness and love and so much appreciate it! Thanks to all who remembered her special day!
Giving Hugs!
We love that we have an Angel watching over us! We love that she is apart of our family and we were so blessed to have her as our daughter! We cherish the time that we were able to hold and love her and look forward to the day that we can be with her again!
Happy Birthday Sister!
Love ~ Daddy, Mommy and Carterman!

This is such a sweet post. You guys are so strong and I admire how you have made this difficult experience into a positive one. (Off the subject, but I didn't know you were helping coach softball. Awesome!!)

Very sweet post. I had to smile when you said Carter is telling her how weird their parents are . . . He is saying, "Hadlee, mom and dad are a little weird, but they love us and I kinda like them. We are pretty lucky!"

I love how you are keeping her so close to you, some people are not as strong as you, and can do that. What a awesome family you and McKay have!! And I am sure Carter chats with her and knows her. When my boys were way smaller, espcially knox, He totally knew who Holden was. They are so close to the vail when they are tiny! Hope to see you around Amanda!!

It's an amazing thing that such a tragedy can actually be such a blessing when we look at the bigger picture. We are so fortunate to know that we will raise our babies in the millenium. I knew you guys would make it through this! Love you both! Happy Birthday Hadlee!!
