Jones Vacation to Cali!!! - 2008

Well over the weekend 1/2 of the Jones family went on a little vacation to California!!! There was Kyle, Lisa, Kyli, Kayden and Treyson then Grandma and Colin, Beth and Taya and McKay and I and Kelli and we inherited a family member just for the weekend and that was Chace!!! Anyways it was SO SO SO much fun!!! We left Thursday night and stayed over in Victorsville, we awoke the next morning to travel the rest of the way to the Beach!!! My favorite place ever! It was cold but nothing we could not handle! We then checked into a hotel that Beth's dad got for us... that was so extremely nice of him we really appreciated it, the rooms were wonderful! After we got settled in there we went to the Giants Dodger game... Go Giants!!! They pulled out a win! At the game it was so cute because Taya was such a big hit with everyone! We had made it early enough for batting practice and Beth, Taya, Kelli and I were standing on the third base line right next to a bunch of Giant players... well one of the balls came down the line and they saw we were Giant fans they came over and handed Taya the ball and signed it! It was way cute and fun for her!!!... Saturday we went to Magic Mountain and exhausted ourselves out! So that night us girls and kids stayed home and swam in the hotel pool while the boys went to the second Giant Dodger game! Then on sunday morning we went to a church in Arcadia which was nice to be able to attend away from home!
Well that was a long summary of our vacation! It was tons of fun! Enjoy the slideshow!!!...

Just Like Her Aunt!!! - 2008

Well in Enterprise they started little leauge soccer!!!... I am so jealous! That was my idea!!!... Anyway my little niece Aubrey is on a team! I went to her game this past Saturday after Isaac got done with his game and yes I have to say she looked just like me when I played soccer in her little uniform! By the way if you guys do not know soccer was my life before we moved to Enterprise I played on little league teams I then moved to double A then triple A then a club team, we were always playing in tournaments all over the place! So when we moved I thought my world ended cause Enterprise had no soccer... it was devastating!!!... Oh my heck she looked so adorable with her little shin guards, her short rolled up soccer shorts, her tucked in jersey and her cute little ponytail!!!... It is fun to watch kids at her age play! One will run after the ball and kinda know what to do and the rest just run by the side of them and follow the ball around!... If you can not tell where she is the lady by the goal os pointing and her pointing finger is right on her!!!...Here is a pic of her being the goalie!!!... Hard to see I konw but so so cute!!!...Here is grandma and AJ watching the game!!!... Oh and ya got to love AJ's mohawk... it looked so cute on him!!!...Well after Aubreys game we took Aubrey and AJ back to our house to play!!!... and this is the cute little outfit I bought her for her birthday and I know good job it is so cute on her!!!... Here is just a pic I wanted of them together... AJ did not want one so Aubrey just grabbed him and I took it asap cause he did not want to be squeezed like that!!!...

Stud Footballer!!! - 2008

Well my little brother Isaac started football this year! So over the weekend I went to his game to see him play! He did so good... he was running the ball way good and he is so good at finding holes so he can go right through the defense! I was so impressed and happy to watch him! So yes I am bragging about my brother cause he will be the biggest STUD in school!... My dad helps coach his team so its a fun family deal!... Oh by the way he is #21 with the gold helmet on!!!...This picture he just got a hand off... oh and ran for 15 yards for a first down!!!... Go Him!!!...Here he is getting tackled after that great 15 yard run!!!...He looks so cute in his uniform... the girls are going to be all over him when he gets older!!!...

Kayden's Birthday!!! - 2008

Happy Birthday Kado!!!... You are getting so big! Happy we could share you're special day with you!!!...

So at the birthday party this year he got more pieces to a track set he had! Those additions were a cargo truck and an airplane! Well Kayden wanted to play it right away... haha well all the Jones boys decided to help him put it together with all old and new parts! They were having more fun putting it together and playing with it than kids!!! It was so funny... so here they all are with Kayden!...

Cedar Mountain Camping Trip - 2008

Well over Labor Day weekend my family decided to go camping for the weekend! My parents left early to go find us a spot and were looking at all campgrounds up Cedar Mountain... well they finally found the only spot left open at a campground near Navajo Lake! It was gorgeous up there! It rained almost the whole time we were there and we actually came home early cause of the rain... but none the less I love camping and it was lots of fun to be up there care free for a bit with the family!!!... This was the first night there and Isaac and my dad are making us some hamburgers! It was pitch black outside and I really did not think this picture would take but my flash on my camera actually worked really really well!So the next morning I woke up at 7!!! Lame I know! Anyways eventually everyone piled out of the tents except Sam and McKay! While those two were peacefully sleeping the rest of us were getting breakfast ready next thing I know McKays head was poking out the side of the tent like a little mouse! It looked so funny I had to take a picture!!!...

Babysitting!!!

So the second night in our first apartment since we got married, we got to babysit my niece and nephews! It was a lot of fun!!!... So the cutest picture was McKay holding Tallon and AJ hitting Kay with the pillow! These kids love McKay... they look up to him so much!My second favorite picture was Kay making Tallon smile and laugh! It was SO adorable!!!...Here is Aubrey playing with my phone! She loves to look at the pictures on it! Especially the ones of her!...

The Big Slide - July 24th, 2008

Well on the 24th of July McKay and I decided to take the big water slide over so the neices and nephews could play on it! They were having a blast! Some of the kids took a while to warm up to it but it did not take long for them to ease into it!...

I think Treyson loved it more than all the kids put together! He did not care what kids were sliding down or running into him. He loved the sprayer on the top of the slide getting him wet... he was just in heaven! It was fun to see the kids enjoying the slide!...

Aubrey's 5th Birthday!!! - July 18th, 2008

Well Aubrey is my niece and turned 5 years old... I can't even believe she is that big! She is growing up way to fast!... Well for her birthday we blew up Grandpa & Grandma Wallin's BIG blow up slide! The kids were having a blast playing on it... and yes McKay is included in the kids!!!...Isaac the GREAT uncle that he is was filling up all the squirt guns to keep the kids going! They were squirting everybody... especially dad cause he would squirm the most when thay would get him wet!!!... AJ loved getting daddy! But hated to get wet just like his daddy! It was so cute he would keep saying, "Don't get me wet, don't get me wet," in his cute little whinin' voice!!! I loved it!...Well when Aubrey finally got to open presents she would grab one open it, throw it down and start tearin' into the next one! With every present she would do that!... She hardly would even look at them it was funny!... When she finally had all the presents open she found one she liked... make-up, well she thought it would be funny to put all the make-up on the boys! They looked so so cute!!!...
She put lipstick on grandpa...She put glitter all over daddy's face and legs...... and of painted Kay's fingernails... they made such cute girls!!! :)

Ence Family Reunion!!! - 2008

Well almost right after the honeymoon we came home to go to Ence reunion! It was a lot of fun to see everyone! It was especially fun to finally spend time with Beth and her family since they showed up for the wedding from Florida! We had not had the time to really sit and visit with them! Here are some pics I thought were cute that I took!...

Yes, Kennedy is still trying to warm up to McKay!!!...

McKay did not like me trying to wake him up! Haha I do it almost every morning, that is pester him for fun! He kinda gets bugged sometimes! :)

Honeymoon!!!

Well we went to Cali for our honeymoon! We had a lot of fun!... We went to a Dodger game and saw Chace there which was kinda fun! He is actually the one that gave us the tickets for our wedding!... Oh by the way McKay was so excited for this game we arrived 4 hours early for it, and if anyone knows the area around Dodger Stadium we sat in front of one the gates all alone up there forever!!! I tried to tell him we would be there in plenty of time and we didn't have to hurry but he insisted! Funny I know!!!...

One day to kill time, we decided to go to the Walk of Fame, I had to take a picture of Celine Dion... my all time favorite singer... and for my parents, especially my mom, I had to get Elton John, so here they are...

We also HAD to go to the beach on my request! I LOVE the beach it is my favorite and I want to live near it one day! Anyways McKay has always been a little wimp when it comes to water... he thinks everything is cold cold cold! So he was a little hestitant at first but finally jumped in and stayed in for a while! In fact I wanted to get out before he did but he insisted on a few more waves to ride... I couldn't say no to that! ... after the swimming in the ocean we walked around the pier next to the spot we were at and it was so beautiful to see the sun start going down! It was sad cause we didn't stay long enough to see the whole sunset but next time we are there we will for sure have to hit it... and course we had to hit the Staples Center when we were trying to kill time!!! McKay had to get fan gear!We also hit the Los Angeles Temple, it was gorgeous, but then again what temple isn't! I so wish we could have done a session but did'nt bring anything with us to go. That would have been neat!...A really neat part of the trip was going to a restaurant called Porto Alegre Brazilian B.B.Q., for those that aren't familiar Porto Alegre, Brazil is where McKay was called to serve his mission. So of course we both had to go eat there! Oh it was so amazingly good!... But our bill on the other hand for two people was $100... ya I know! We both just looked at each other and said "It's our honeymoon we can do whatever and spend whatever we want, this only comes once." Haha, so we did! It was so well worth it!!! Well that was our wonderful Honeymoon in a nutshell!!!... Our last pic together in Cali before we took off! Hope ya enjoyed the tour!...
