Talk about a fun stage! He started crawling on the day he turned 8 months old, said his first word this month, da-da, claps and is crawling up stairs!!This kid is growing up right before our eyes and I wish time would go slo-mo for a while! He isn't sleeping great at nights, he will wake up crying and it takes a bit to settle him down but occasionally he will have a night where he will sleep through! He takes 2 to 3 naps a day and eats every 4 hours and he loves to eat! He wants the good stuff though not the baby food! Anytime Mom or Dad are eating he will crawl as fast as he can and start begging for some! He always gets his way!
He says Da-Da all the time, he crawls faster and faster everyday. He claps and jibber-jabbers while he plays and crawls around! He shakes his head no and he fake laughs at everything and everyone! This month he especially likes to try and copycat what we do and say. He really likes his Mom, he likes to crawl around the house, playing with the kids. Eating real food, drinking through a straw, getting tickled and taking baths!
He dislikes when Baylee manhandles him, when Mom won't pick him up and hold him because she is trying to get things done! He doesn't like strangers and he hates when he doesn't get a long enough naps!
His favorite toys are balls, the car he got for Christmas, standing up to things, anything that is on the floor and peek-a-boo!
By the end of the month Owen is learning to walk along furniture, say ma-ma and pick things up with his pincher fingers!
