FHE ~ Jones Book Reading

Each year the Joneses try to get together the Monday before Christmas and read a story that Grandma has picked out with a wonderful message behind it! This year we read "A Christmas Bell for Anna"! We met at Grandma's house this year and made some cookies, sugar and gingerbread!
Carter helping cut out the sugar cookies!
McKay and Baylee helping cut out the gingerbread!

Grandma helping Baylee push hard!
Once all the kids got their they decorated the cookies! Grandpa was all about decorating those gingerbread man cookies!
They kids loved the sprinkles!
Taya and Carter!
Grandpa and Keltyn!

McKay and Baylee!
Taya and Treyson!
Talyn and McKinley!
McKinley and Kyli!
After we decorated cookies we ate some yummy pizza and we all gathered in the living room to read the story! They best part is that we skype with Beth and Brett's families so all the Joneses are able to read and listen to the story together!
Waiting to connect with everyone!
The kids having fun seeing their cousins!
Being extra silly!
In the top left corner is our group at Grandma Joneses! The top right is the Amberson family in Florida and in the bottom left is the Brett Jones family in Iowa!
Getting a few sillies out before we start reading the book!
Listening to Uncle Brett read the story!
After the story we chatted for a while and then got a few plates of cookies and went caroling to 3 houses! They kids did awesome!
After caroling we headed back to Grandma's and ate cookies and played!
Lance and Kelli figuring something out!
We love this tradition and we always love the message the story brings!
