Happy 11th Birthday Carter!
I can't believe we are getting to this point with our kids where we are knocking at the door of the teenage years! This kid always gets so stinkin' excited for his birthday! He loves being spoiled and celebrated and we love doing it! I mean who doesn't love being spoiled every once in a while especially with 5 younger siblings!
He was the first one awake that morning so he was already on the couch waiting on the rest of us! We sang Happy Birthday and let him open some presents!
He usually knows what he wants and it's nothing too crazy but he always acts so surprised and so grateful for whatever it is that he gets!
We always like to throw a surprise in there to keep him guessing!

We celebrated with family! Had an ice cream cake and sang to him again!
Our kids probably get so annoyed by us but all day long McKay and I will say their name and after they say what we say Happy Birthday in a crazy, silly or fun way, literally all day long! By the time the day is done we probably have said it 50 times each!
We also believe in birthday weeks at our house! We basically celebrate and spoil that person for a whole week!
We do favorite breakfasts, dinners, take them out to eat! Do an activity sometime during the week and just have some fun!
