So today we were all alone, Sam and Scott had left the night before! So we decided to just stay close to Solvang and explore what was around us! McKay heard of this waterfall not to far from where we were staying so we decided to head up to it and take the hike!

Unfortunately the waterfall was all dried up due to the fact California is in this huge drought! So sadly no water but it did make for a funny hike with the kids!
The blue part behind the family is where the waterfall should be and the creek runs by the side but it is obviously dried up!
Owen loved being on McKay's shoulders!
This girl liked to be the boss!
This boy was all about being in the front!
After the hike we headed to a park close by to let the kids burn some energy!
Owen got hurt and needed a little sympathy!
Found the cool shady spot!
There was a golf course right next to the park so McKay decided to do some golfing and was the awesome Dad and took the 2 oldest with him! They thought it was awesome riding the golf cart and being able to lift the flag up for Dad, they even got to putt a few in!

This kid and I went for a little drive to put him to sleep then found a spot above the golf course I could watch most the holes!
After dinner the kids enjoyed some popsicles!
