The kids woke up excited and ready to start the day! We had a parade, planned on some swimming, good food and fireworks!
Dressed for the occasion!
Our condo wasn't far from the festivities so we walked and found an open spot to sit and waited for the parade!

Owen just wanted to run in the street so Dad snatched him up!
This family came walking down the street with a wagon full of pinwheels and was handing them out to the kids, the kids loved them! Then a few adults came walking down the sidewalk and handed out mini flags, the kids loved those too!

The big thing in this parade was dancing horses! It was amazing to see what these horses could do! They had so many!

After the parade we walked around and got a feel of what it was like and then headed back to swim!
They kids were in heaven!

The had a big pool, kiddie pool and hot tub! It was perfect for what we wanted!
Owen didn't like to be held but he also didn't like his floatie! He will have to learn to swim quick!

Carter was a swimming machine! He was getting brave and staying under the water longer than he ever has!
He swam back and forth and then started swimming around the outside of the pool!

After swimming we headed back for hamburgers, hotdogs, corn and watermelon! Great BBQ with great company!
After dinner we headed up to fireworks and luckily for us it was in a field right behind where we were staying!
It got a bit chilly at night when the sun went down! We weren't really prepared for cold in Cali!

Like I said earlier out condo was literally 5 walking minutes away so driving it was a minute! There were a ton of cars trying to get out of the field so it took a little longer but between the time we loaded in the car and got to the condo Carter and Baylee were passed out in the back seat! I guess we had a busy fun filled day!
Also we only drove for a place to sit since we didn't bring any chairs! We aren't that lazy!
