...San Juan Trip...

DAY 1
Enteprise played San Juan last Friday in football so we of course headed up since that is where Sam and Scott moved, plus it is always fun to watch Isaac play some football! So we left Enterprise around 11ish and took a few stops and got to San Juan at around 6ish! We dropped McKay off at the game and headed to Sam's house and Carter knocked on the door and Sam and Scott gave him quite the greeting!
This picture is a little difficult to see but Sam's face his priceless!
Excited Aunt Sam! Carter thinking she is being a little freaky!
Enteprise sadly lost the game! We basically were playing JV though because we had so many hurt and suspended and many players were playing in different positions! It had been raining all day so we had a cold game and had to bundle up warmly!
Carter fell asleep for the second half of the game and woke up right at the end to give Isaac high 5's and Dad some lovin!
DAY 2
The next day we had a wonderful yummy breakfast! Lounged around for a little bit while everyone got ready!
My lounge lizards!
We started out the day going to Bluff, which is a Mormon settled town under the direction of John Taylor he led about 230 Mormons on an expedition to start a farming community in southeastern Utah. After forging about 200 miles of their own trail over difficult terrain, the settlers arrived on the site of Bluff in April 1880. (The trail followed went over and down the "Hole In the Rock".)
Isaac standing in front of one of the covered wagons!
One of many one room homes they built and lived in!
School room for the kids! I told them to pose as if they were students! This is what I got... Sam is the only one who behaved, the rest laughed at me!
John Taylor
This is one of the original wagons used to come down "The Hole In the Rock"! Amazing it is still in one piece!
I thought this fact was interesting... the leader of the group called a lady and asked her to be the nurse over the colony which included being a midwife for the woman having babies! She had NO prior experience and took the job anyways! Amazing!
Traditional Navajo Homesite
Inside the Navajo Homesite
Carter fell asleep on our ride there so he missed the whole tour but he needed the sleep!
Still sleeping on our way to lunch!
Twin Rocks above the cafe we ate at!
After we finished visiting that fun little town and grabbing some food we headed back to San Juan and found a park for Carter to play at!
Loves slides!
McKay chasing Carter down the slide! Carter thought this was a funny game!
Scott the jungle monkey!
Cheese!
Sam wanted to be apart of the tunnel at the top of the slide for Carter to go under!
Practicing his pull ups!
Our little gymnast on the balance beam!
After the park the boys went golfing in Monticello! Sadly no pictures and I can happily say McKay beat them all! While the boys were golfing we went to the dinosaur museum and Carter was in heaven! He would run from dinosaur to dinosaur and growl at each one!
He didn't like Sam holding him because he wanted to run to each dinosaur!
He couldn't quit starring at this one! I think this one was his favorite!
We got back to Sam's apartment as we waited for the boys and I noticed her calendar!
Who ya think she loves the most???
Isaac was the only one sad he was leaving!
After the boys got back we went out to eat at a steakhouse that was yummy and gave you so much food none of us got close to finishing our plates but the growing Isaac!
DAY 3
We woke up on day 3 and went to sacrament meeting!
After church! Cute family!!!
Getting packed up to head home!
McKay resting on the job!
Carter playing with Sam one last time before we headed out!
We left with a sweet dance from Sam and hit the road! In Green river we stopped to eat some lunch at a school! Carter just wanted to go play on the play gym!
King of the stump!
Dad and Carter chilling in back watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!
Carter was such an awesome rider! He does so well in cars! We had so much fun visiting Sam and Scott! I love spending time with family and happy we got this chance!

This looks like such a fun trip. You probably miss Sammy with her living so far away!
