So the kids wanted to decorate their tree while Mom put the lights on the big tree! We have a small tree that the kids are able to touch, move decorations around, add decorations they get or make and they do all the decorating! They love their tree and it's been a fun tradition for them!

I am not a tree decorator and I really have no knack for cute stuff like this of craftiness so this is the best it gets but it works for us!
