Splash Pad

So this was actually Carter's first experience at the Splash Pad! We thought 'Oh he will love it... he loves the bath why not'... well here is how it went!
It started out good! He loved to watch the water from a distance!
McKay tried to set him down to play and he wouldn't let his feet touch the ground!
His feet touched the ground and he... lost it! He was not happy!!!
After about 20 minutes and almost ready to go home... he would finally sit on the side and let his feet touch the water but he didn't dare stand up or let us to far from his side!
Finally McKay helped him stand up... after 5 minutes of standing there he started to walk around and then he was good and loved it!
Liked it over by the rocks the best!
 Found a seat!
Guess he just needed to figure out what this Splash Pad was all about! Hopefully we can find ourselves down there more often!

Track 2012

My brother Isaac is a STUD!!!
He ran track this year and did amazing! He was always in one of the top 3 fastest heats! He beat his Personal Best a few times and I know he will only get better! It was fun to watch him when we could and look forward to the coming years!!! He runs the 100m, 200m and the 4x100m! He was ranked 2nd in 2A Freshman which is quite awesome!!!
Started out a little behind...
Evening up the race...
Pulling Ahead...
WON!!!

Look at his muscle's in this picture... he is ripped!!!

Isaac is so athletic! I love to watch him compete in sports and I hate that I won't be close enough to come watch every game this year!!! I love this boy and love watching him grow up even though we have our fair share of getting after each other in our close living quarters! He is awesome and I love the time we have had over the last couple years... I just know he won't know what to do without us when we leave!!!

Carter at 14 Months

WE LOVE THIS KID!!!
Carter just keeps getting more fun to have around... well he has always been fun but lately he has been such a little ham and a very big tease! He is the happiest little boy I know! I am so grateful and happy that he is mine! He always has a smiling and he brings such love!
A few new things about Carterman: He does have hair really long, messy all over type hair but yes he looks bald because it is so blonde... people are starting to call him Bino Jr.! If you are close to him you will see it and it actually has a natural curl or flip in the back that is cuper cute! He is really picking up the sign language thing... he can sign more, please, thank you, milk, and water! He is really good at teling us yes and no when he wants or doesn't want something! We are always asking him questions and he replies exactly to what he thinks... Mom is always a good girl and Dad has his days of being good and bad! He can say Isaac which Isaac thinks is pretty awesome! He must be the favorite!!! He has 6 teeth now... 4 on top and 2 on bottom! He gives fives and knuckles... knuckles is the new one he has given fives for a while! We still take 2 naps a day... usually! He still loves the outdoors... he really loves animals! Any animal he sees he will walk right up to it and try to touch it... most run away! He has no fear... he loves Gpa and Gma Jones horses and chickens... first thing he does when we get there is walks right over to them and don't try and get in his way! He is starting to enjoy the tv and likes Backyardigans, Ni Hao Kia Lan, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake and the Neverland Pirates but we have yet to still watch a whole episode! He really just likes the Introduction Songs that begin each episode! He especially loves the intro songs to How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory... no matter where he is at he will come running in and stand right in front of the tv and start dancing and at the end of The Big Bang Theory he will throw his hands up in the air for BANG!!! It is the most funny thing Ive seen! He loves to dance... I not sure quite where he learned his dance moves and I have yet to catch it on camera! He still loves Mom's hair! He loves attention! He loves to be tickled! He loves to laugh and loves when people make him laugh! He constantly jabbers... I have  feeling one day he will just start talking and never stop! He still loves to cuddle... Yay! I hope he never grows out of that one! When he is finished eating he will just throw his food on the ground... trying to break this habit... nothing is working! He loves to go on Gator, 4 wheeler rides and his favorite is the riding lawn mower! He is a little climber and trys to climb everything! He loves to cheer for the Girls softball team he will sit there and clap and yell for them... it's so cute! I am sure there is so mch more but I am having a brain cramp so enjoy some cute pictures!
Watching a show before he heads to Gma Jones' House!
Cuddlin up on the couch at Gma J's!
Loves his pillow pet Cosmo the Cougar! He is always close by!
Carter is silly! He will always find the most interesting places to sit... here is my favorite... behind all the toys and under a table!!!
He has learned to use a fork and spoon and actually does really well! He just has a hard time with foods that slide off like applesauce and soup!
Busy as a bee!
We have always blocked off the fireplace with the ottoman so he wouldn't crash and burn on the rocks well he has now become my little climber and will climb over the ottoman and onto the fireplace and stand up and walk back and forth and up and down... it's one of his favorite places!
Here is another one of his random sitting locations!
Loves walks and to be outside! COOL DUDE!
We had to keep the binky in because he kept trying to eat the woodchips!
Park Fun!
We saw this horse at Lin's for $3 and had to buy it because he loves Gma J's horse so much and he loves it! It even makes the horse sounds!
Exhausted at the softball game that he laid down on McKay for 2 minutes and was out!
My sick boy! I hate when kids get sick... it's so sad!
Another random sitting place! On his books!
Loves to play with balls and he especially likes basketball... which his Gpa and Dad are thrilled about!
Having Uncle Isaac help him dunk it!
We all got a little tired of always lifting Carter up to the big hoop that we went and bought a cheap, just his size basketball hoop and he LOVES it! He is constantly shooting! He now will back up a few feet and try and shoot from far away instead of right over the hoop! He is getting good!
Just reading a few books... what's the big deal right???
So funny!!!
Messy Marvin! We had food everywhere!
We bought some new pj's and showed him the dog on the front and he couldn't quit lifting up his shirt to try and look at the dog!
Always full of smiles!
I also thought I took the red eye off this picture... his eyes look a little evil!
I love this look! I always know I will get either kisses or hugs after I see this sweet face!!!
Another random sitting location!
Still loves the iPad!

Such a handsome boy!!!
Exhausted from a long day at the softball field!
Busy trying to get a ball!
Keeping him occupied between games!
We love this kid and are having so much fun watching him grow up! We are so excited for the summer... we have lots of fun things planned and hopefully one of those is the zoo because I think Carter would just be in heaven there! We will get to be outside and he is just a complete joy to have around!

Graduation!

So I get to brag about my family! I am so proud of the accomplishments each achieved and I know it wasn't a simple task! I am especially proud of my husband and the good man that he is! It's been a long road and not always an easy one but it has definitely made us stronger and we are happy we were able to travel it together!
To start off how we got to this point it started back in 2003 when McKay went to Southern Virginia to start college... he completed a semester before he went to serve his 2 year mission in Brazil... he served from Feb. 2004 to Feb. 2006! When he got home he started working at USBank and then started Dixie State College in August of 2006 working on his Bachelors in Business Administration! In Dec.of 2008 he decided he didn't like Business and wanted to do something else! We talked him into finishing his degree since he was only a year away from finishing! So he finally finished in Dec. of 2009 graduating with a Bachelors in Business Administration and continued the spring semester getting pre req's done to start the Athletic Training Program at SUU in the Fall of 2010! Where he completed a 2 year program... of driving back and forth from Enterprise to cedar 5 to 7 days a week and being gone from 7 in the morning to 8 at night and sometimes 11... which leads us to this...
McKay got awarded The Outstanding Athletic Training Student Award!
Receiving his award from the program director! Great work Babe!!!
He put in the most logged hours out of all the trainers by a long shot and he lived 45 min. away and had a family! So he went the extra mile, put in a ton of work and it sure paid off! What an accomplishment!
Saturday May 5th, 2012 he walked with his class!!!
Here McKay is up on the stage! He got to sit up there during the ceremony because of receiving Outstanding Student! He is right behind the pulpit!
Carter and Grandpa enjoying the ceremony! Go DADDY!!!
My beautiful but very crazy sister I love so much! Go Sammie!!!
So excited for the grads! Getting ready to give them big hugs!
My handsome boys!
McKay graduated with a Bachelors in Athletic Training!
The husband and wife! One of the 58 married couples that graduated together!
Scott graduated with a Bachelors in Physical Education w/ a coaching/teaching emphasis!
Sam graduated with a Bachelors in Business Education and was honored with Suma Cum Laude!
The happy family!!!

The Athletic Trainer Graduates! we got to know this group really well! They were McKay's second family... some weeks I think he spent more time with them then at home! So Thanks to all them for being so awesome and fun!!!
Sam is so silly!
Very proud of these 3!!! Congrats!
Teddi has had all 7 kids graduate from college! Some have got Masters and out of 7 kids 5 have graduated from SUU plus Teddi has and 3 have graduated from Dixie!
Proud Mom!

Very happy, proud and excited wife! GO BABE!!!
McKay has worked hard, never quit, stuck through it even when he was hating it! Got good grades, stayed long hours, helped anywhere they needed him and was a good friend to those around him! He was an example and let's just say he is a very good man!!!

Party!!!
At the moment Scott and McKay are still looking for jobs! They have applied everywhere and interviewed! Sam got a job at San Juan High School as the business teacher and is excited for this new step! Scott might be going back to school that is the plan so far unless something changes and McKay has a Certified test he is studying hard for that we take at the beginning of June that we cross our fingers he will pass so he will be a licensed Trainer! Good Luck!!!
