*Christmas Day*

The anticipation that has been building up all month is about to get exciting! I absolutely LOVE holidays with kids! Growing up I always loved the holidays, my parents always made them so fun and exciting! It didn't matter what holiday either, even if it was one they didn't care for or thought was silly, they put their own feelings aside and made it fun and exciting for us as kids! As a mother now McKay and I try our hardest to do the same for our kids! Christmas to me is one of the easy ones to get them excited for and having fun with all that is included with Christmas!

So as I said before I LOVE holidays with my kids and Christmas is one of my favorites! The excitement on their faces, the joy, the happiness, the grateful hearts, the love and all the many emotions that come with this holiday make it one of the best!

Santa came!

Looks like he spoiled the Joneses!

Last year McKay was so excited for Christmas that he was up and ready at 7! Our kids were still young enough that the excitement didn't wake them up eager to see what was out there in the living room, plus my kids sleep in late! They don't wake up until anywhere between 8:30-10:00! Well McKay didn't know if he could wait that long, I kept telling him if he woke them up they would just be ornery! Anyway 8:00 finally rolled around and he couldn't handle it anymore so he woke up the kids! It took a while for Carter to wake up and he wasn't his normal happy self, a little ornery! So McKay learned his lesson last year to just let the kids sleep!

Carter came walking into our room about 8:30! McKay said go wake up Baylee and then we all headed out into the living room! First thing Carter noticed was the tree and all the presents! After a few minutes he noticed the kitchen and then even a few more minutes after that he finally noticed his dune racer! I am actually really surprised the that the big things were the last things he noticed! After he noticed of course the first thing he wanted to do was jump in the racer! Santa was very nice and got one with two seats so he could take his sister for rides!

After Grandma Joneses we headed over to Grandma Wallin's! Sam and her family were at my Mom's and they all waited to open presents in hopes we would come over at a reasonable time and we did so we were all able to open presents together! My kids got spoiled and got presents from Ellie, Isaac and the grandparents!

She just tore through them! She got a Minnie Mouse Tea Set to go with her kitchen from Ellie!

My Mom and Dad made a delicious prime rib for dinner! We love the holidays and all the family time it brings! Here is to a very successful Christmas surrounded by loved ones!
