We had a fun December month! We did a lot of little things but they were some of the best nights! We really had a good time and I LOVE being able to spend time with our families!
On the first Monday of the month we held FHE and talked about the Birth of Christ and trying to make it our focus for the month! We then decorated our house with the little decorations we had and as we were taking out the Nativity and unwrapping every piece we would tell Carter the significance of that piece or what role they played in the Birth of Christ! He loved it and was excited to put all the pieces where they went! He took an extra liking to Baby Jesus and it was so fun to see him treat that piece with extra care!
Then we decorated a gingerbread house!
Carter enjoyed eating the candy much more than actually decorating it!

We wanted a real one this year but we were never able to get out and get it so our little one worked! Carter loved it so that is all that matters!

As we were up to Isaac's basketball game we went out to eat and at the restaurant Santa was there! We had no idea so it was a pleasant surprise and Carter was so excited he was having a hard time just eating his dinner because he was so worried about where he was and what he was doing!

Baylee, Santa and Carter! Neither kids cried and Carter actually really really liked him so I think this year was a success!
This Santa was so nice and personable! So I am glad I didn't have to go to a mall... I heard they are getting onery!
So we didn't get our lights up until the 13th of the month because of the freezing weather! We did finally get them up and Carter was so excited to help McKay and turn them on every night! It was so fun to see such joy and excitement over something so little! I love Christmas with kids!

Not my most favorite lights... I wanted brighter ones but it's all we could get this year! Not much of a selection in Enterprise and we were never in St. George!

We went to the St. George Temple one night to see the nativity and lights! Carter loves climbing the stairs and he loves to tell us he is going to get married in the temple! It's so cute!

Closer to Christmas I told Carter we would make snowman pizza! Pizza is his favorite food and he was stoked!

The Monday before Christmas all the Jones' met at Kyle's to read our traditional Christmas story with everybody! We ate pizza first! Then we skyped with The Amberson's and the Iowa Jones' and it was a great story! Always helps bring the spirit!

your such a cute fun mom!! I hate the mall Santas!! they are grumpy. I had to do some major cleanup after he was mean to Knox! Knox was so heartbroken! I even told Knox that he was a fraud fake Santa! haha!
