McKay had a athletic conference he wanted to attend in California so the kids and I hopped in the car and headed to Cali with him! We decided to make it a mini vacation and to celebrate our dear Hadlee's birthday in our favorite spot, the beach!
We headed out Thursday after school and when McKay got finished with the teams! So it was late afternoon, early evening!

The next morning we weren't in any rush so we were a bit lazy!
The kids played pokemon on the bed!
We headed to breakfast, this girl was excited!
Next we headed to the beach!
OUR FAVORITE PLACE!
It was such a beautiful day! Warm, clear skies and just no worries but being with each other! It was seriously the most memorable day!
We did a lot of digging in the sand and making sand castles!
She loved the water from a distance but really loved the sand and dipping her toes in every once in a while!
She was very very busy!
Baylee and the boys loved running in and out of the water and running away from the waves!
Baylee really didn't like having the sand stuck on her hands! So she was washing them off constantly!
Owen loved everything about the water, he would literally fight it like it was a bad guy!

Carter got wiped out by a wave when he wasn't looking!
It gave us a pretty good laugh!

Carter is the one that got fully in the most! He loved getting out there and swimming around a bit!

Jones Family Trip
After heading to the beach we decided to go walk along the pier!
Rode the carousel!
Walked around the small aquarium that they had! Saw some cool starfish and got to pet them too!
Made shark hats!
Went back to the hotel and ordered some pizza!
The next morning McKay headed to his conference and the kids and I stayed back and ate breakfast and then down to the hot tub!

After swimming we got ready and headed to the park!
When Dad got back from his conference we went out to eat then jumped back into the hot tub!
The kids tried out the pool a few times! It was freezing though!
Even Camille got brave!
After swimming we headed to get ice cream! Can't celebrate a birthday without ice cream!
The next day McKay's conference was only a half a day so we packed up the hotel room, dropped McKay off and headed to another park!
The boys played some Pokemon!
Picked Dad up at lunch time, grabbed some lunch before the trip home!
It was a great trip! Seriously perfect!
