What a roller-coaster of a season! Losing my Dad, my coaching buddy and my best friend! It was definitely a bitter sweet year. Hard at times and I seemed to cry a lot but what else would you expect!
The girls had a pretty good season!
They were REGION CHAMPS!
We headed to State down in St. George and they were ready, I truly believe those seniors weren't gonna settle for anything else!
1st morning of State!
Each day, each girl would write WFW on their wrist! It was our theme for the year #winningforwallin
They played for him, they played for themselves, they played for each other and they played for their school!
Rain Delay! Ended up going to Denny's for breakfast and then back to the field!
We beat both teams the first day! Headed into the second day still in the winner's bracket!
2nd say at State!
My kids dressed up and ready to do some cheering for the girls!
Parents put signs up all around town and on the highway headed to St. George!
We won both games the 2nd day and we were heading into Staurday playing for the State Championship in the winner's bracket!
The baseball team was also playing for the Championship but coming from the loser's bracket!
Waiting for the Semifinal game to finish so we know who we would be up against!
STATE CHAMPS!
The girls beat Gunnison 6-5!
I was so incredibly proud of them! They had a goal and they never gave up!
I coach the best girls!
