Fishlake

The middle of June we decided to take a camping trip and headed to Fishlake!

Owen wanted to wear his hat so bad but ten minutes into the drive he fell asleep and his hat fell over his face!

We finally got there and the kids were so happy to get out of the car and explore!

After breakfast we headed down to the lake and skipped some rocks, explored the shoreline and dunked our feet!

Owen fell in the water and then wanted to head home! He didn't love being soaked!

After playing in the lake for a little bit we decided to take a drive up the canyon and see what beauty was around us!

After the drive we headed back and ate some lunch!

Then pulled out the card games!

When Camille woke up we headed to the Lodge and got some ice cream! It was delicious!

After ice cream we headed down to a different part of the lake and skipped more rocks!

Then he woke up for a bit changed chairs and went back to sleep!

Millie didn't like sitting in her carseat while Mom got dinner ready!

So Dad added one more cute girl to his lap!

It started getting cool so we started up the fire!

Once it got a little darker we pulled out the marshmallows!

The next morning we had a little wrestling match before we got up and got going!

Then we got dressed and got some breakfast!

Owen did not want to go home!

We had a blast! It was so laid back, disconnected from our phones and enjoying being together as a family! It was just what we needed!

We didn't care that we didn't do much or did the same things a lot! It was just the simplicity!
