So my sister, Sam, had a teaching conference up north and invited us and the kids to go with her! We took her up on the offer! We loaded up the kids Sunday evening and headed up to Draper!
All ready to go!
Monday morning Sam left early for meetings, the kids watched some tv, we ate breakfast, explored the hotel, took a bath and by then Sam had come home for lunch!

We were right across the street from the aquarium so of course we had to go!

This picture has a funny story! You can't see it very well but there is a net going down the middle of the exhibit separating two turtles from each other! Carter ran up and said, "Hey Mom look, they put a net in their cage so they can play volleyball!" Haha! I died laughing and said, "Yes they did!" I mean why wouldn't the turtles want to play volleyball!
After the aquarium we went and got dinner then headed back to the hotel for some swimming!

The next morning we were lazy again waiting for Sam to get done with her meetings! The kids were watching a show and one minute I look over and Owen is awake and the next moment I look over...
He was fast asleep!
I was freezing Carter out!
After Sam got done we headed up to Heber grabbed some lunch then headed to ride the Heber Valley Train!

The kids were so excited! Sam and I were too, we rode this all the time when we were little! We were excited to finally be able to take our own kids!

Halfway through the ride we had some bad cowboys jump on the train, they made you put your hands up!

After the train ride we headed home! It was a fun short trip and I hope we get to do it again some time!
