This month has
been interesting with you! You woke up throwing up one night, threw up 3 or 4
times over 4 hours, and then you went back to sleep and woke up the next day
like nothing was the matter! Played acted and ate as normal! Had a good night
sleep the night and then the third night you woke up throwing up again with the
same routine as the first night and again woke up fine and went about your day
fine! You had no fever, no diarrhea, no chills or sweats so I didn't know what
was going on! At the same time Carter was having major stomach pains with
diarrhea so McKay and I concluded that Carter had too much milk lately which
isn't good for him and we were wondering if Baylee had the same thing Carter
was diagnosed with when he was 19 months old, Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome! Then
one night you woke up crying in terrible pain! We couldn't get you to calm down
and we were trying everything! You started holding your belly and once we took
a look it was very tight and bloated! We got really nervous something was wrong
with your duodenum, where you had surgery as an infant, and so we got Carter
out of bed went over to Grandma Wallin's! Grandpa and Dad gave you a blessing
we left Carter to sleep and McKay, you and I headed down to the emergency
room! You still wouldn't calm down so we were very illegal and I held you on my
lap! You cried the whole way down until 10 minutes before we got to the ER you
finally fell asleep!
Once we got there and checked in you acted like nothing was wrong, I am sure the nurses thought we were over analyzing what was going on with you! We got checked in, got back to our room and waited! Told the story 3 or 4 times and finally they came into your room to get 2 abdominal x-rays, we waited some more and in the meantime you passed a ton of gas and had a bowel movement! The doctor finally came in and said everything looked good in the x-rays but that you had a ton of gas build up which very well could be why your stomach hardened up and you were in so much pain!
Waiting for the Doctor!

Getting your x-rays! You were so brave!
So they sent us on our way and we finally got home at 4 in the morning and Mom had to be at work by 7:30! Talk about a long night and long day! When you and Dad finally woke up at about 11 he took you over to Grandma Wallin's and he went to work and Grandma said you acted fine all day! We are glad we were cautious and made sure you were alright, with your history we never know!
After the next few days went by McKay and I both think Baylee has what Carter got diagnosed with at 18 months old called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. So we have cut out ice cream, milk, yogurt, cheese and chocolate and are waiting to see what happens! So far no more vomiting episodes, no diarrhea and we are trying to be really good about watching what you eat because we cut out some of your most favorites!
You are still a big pill! You love to go out in the middle of the floor and run in circles, laughing and making silly noises and faces while everyone watches you! You love to do somersaults and you are a pro at them! You are starting to get more affectionate, you will randomly come up to Dad and i and give us big squeezes around the neck of leg and then give us a kiss, usually on the leg, arm, shoulder, forehead or cheek! Never the lips! If we ask for loves you give a big squeeze around the neck, one of my favorites! You have been eating meat so much better this month, hopefully you start liking it more and won't give us such grief about eating it! You love cereal and drinking the almond milk from the bowl! You are saying more and more words! You love to play outside, play hide n seek with Carter and you still love to copy everything he does! You ask for him the minute you wake up and when you wake up from a nap and he isn't there you will ask about him, like you are ready to go pick him up! The other morning you awoke before Carter and when he finally woke up you said, "Car-ker up!", and held you hands out to give him a big hug! You are constantly trying to lift my shirt up and say baby, you will pat my tummy and sometimes give it kisses! It's like you already know who is coming! You have been liking the movies Curious George, Over the Hedge and Despicable Me 2 lately! You like to play the iPad and LeapPad but you get very frustrated when things don't go your way! You love to play with cousins! you are still very tall, most people think you are older then 2 and you are only 20 months old! You are silly and constantly have us laughing!
