Camping

So the weekend before school started we decided to go on a camping trip! Nothing fancy just something fun before we got into the rush of work, school and sports! We drove up past the reservoir and found a good place with lots of rocks to climb on and parked and set up!

We found a crack between two of the rocks the kids thought was a pretty cool hideout!

After we hiked around for a while we headed back and cooked hotdogs and ate some delicious watermelon!

We all snuggle together! The kids slept between McKay and I! That night got a little chilly and in the morning the kids wanted their jackets on!

After hiking around we went back to camp and started breakfast!

Once we had cleaned up we headed to the reservoir and played in the water for a while!

We loved that it was laid back and simple! We especially loved that we were together as a family!
