Sleepover Fun!!! - 2008

This last friday Aubrey and AJ came to our apt. to have a sleepover with uncle McKay and aunt Amanda!!!... We first went and rented a movie for the night... and of coarse is had to be Dora! Then we headed over to McKay's softball game but just my luck they had just finished up so we headed back home to watch the movie and get ready for bed!!!

Saturday morning I woke up before everyone and went out to sit on the couch and after about 5 minutes of sitting their AJ goes, "Hey you, I'm awake!" It was so cute so he jumped up and came and sat on my lap and not much longer Aubrey woke up... at this point Kay was still sleeping so I couldn't refuse Aubrey's request to go and wake him up!!!... They both jumped on the bed and jumped on him! Woke him up just in time to send him off to work for a couple of hours!... So while Kay was at work we ate breakfast took showers for the day and yes watched Dora again!!!... After Dora got done I decided to run some errands with them... we went to Target and yes as an aunt you have the right to spoil them so we had to get some treats and had to see how fast our cart could go!!! On our way home their is a water fountain that we stopped by and we took some pictures... AJ was not being very cooperative! But they had fun running around the fountain and feeling the water!

When Kay got home we headed off to the park! This park is right down the street from us and is a really nice one! It has 5 slides, 2 half basketball courts and a sand volleyball court! They had a blast! Yes McKay and I played on the slides too! At the park their was one other little boy and AJ went right up to him and said, "I AJ," it was so funny a 2 year old boy introducing himself!!!.. After the park we headed to the splashpad on Tabernacle AJ loved the water on his feet but did not want to get wet anywhere else... as for Aubrey we told her not to get wet but eventually gave in and she soaked herself head to toe! She would run up and down and get AJ occasionally and he would get angry... which made Aubrey do it more!!! Well we kept telling Aubrey not to run or she would fall... she didn't want to listen and yes fell... and hard!!! That was the end of the water fun!!!...

When we got home from the splashpad the kids zonked out on the couch and that's when we got Tallon for the rest of the night while mom was at work... oh and he is a doll!!! Cutest smile ever!!!... When they finally woke up McKay and AJ went and got pizza! They ate a ton... lots more than Kay and I... we wore them out I am afraid!... We watched Dora again and played around in the house and built forts and played with the bears and turtle!!!... Eventually put them to bed... before mom would come and pick them up!!!...

Anyways that was our eventful weekend sleepover!!! It was so much fun!!!... We love our nieces and nephews!!!... Here are some pictures of our weekend of FUN!!!...
