*Grandma J's Birthday*

We love any excuse to get together even if it means Grandma turns a year older! Teddi's birthday is in August 26th and we all got together with those around and let the cousins play, ate some delicious  cake from Emilee and enjoyed each other's company!

Cherry Hill

McKay had an Teaching Conference up in Salt Lake City so we made a weekend trip of it! We stayed in Bountiful because it was in the middle of our two destinations!

We hang around the hotel for a while then I took Carter over to McDonalds for lunch so he could play on the playplace! We then picked up McKay, went and got our swimsuits on and headed to Cherry Hill! Cherry Hill is located up North in Fruit Heights, my family has been going here for years! Family reunions, camping and just fun family fun! It has a water park, camping, batting cages, mini golf, arcade and a few other things! Carter loves swimming so I wanted him to experience one of my wonderful childhood memories and one of my favorite places to go! Carter has actually been there before but to young to really remember!

It was a simple weekend but we had so much fun! I really love spending my time with these three! They make my heart full and keep a smile on my face!

Surgeries

So my Dad and brother Isaac went to the doctor before we headed to vacation and came to a conclusion with the doctor they needed surgery!

Isaac's Story:

Isaac has been playing sports forever he loves them especially basketball, his all time favorite! This last school year he was in a lot of pain playing any sport he did! We thought he had turf toe! He went to the doctor the same day my Dad did and they did an MRI and said he had a break that healed wrong in his big toe on the right foot, he broke his toe in football his freshman year!

Isaac's friends and brought him cookies the day of his surgery! They got pretty creative!

Dad's Story:

My Dad over the last year was having troubles with his foot and ankle! As time progressed he started to walk on the inside of his foot and as more time progressed he started to walk on his ankle basically! The doctor had said he had crushed his ankle bone and there were some tendons that needed to be repaired due to that fact he was walking on his foot the wrong way for so long! So he had gone in for reconstructive surgery on July 31st! He was in a wheelchair for 2 months and has been in a boot for a 1 1/2 months! It has been challenging and he has been awesome about it! He finally got his boot off today and we are just hoping everything continues to go well! There are a lot more details to his story but since I have procrastinated for so long I don't remember them all!

Grandpa finally got to come home 3 days later and all he wanted to do was snuggle with Baylee! Nap time!

My Dad has always claimed he doesn't get tattoo's he gets scars! He just added 3 beautiful scars to his collection!

So kinda weird they got surgery on the same day and by the same doctor! Isaac wasn't able to play football but he is playing basketball! He was hoping he would be better faster than he was! But he is learning patience and work by doing all the exercises he needs to to get back to no pain while running and pushing off of his toe!

Carterman!

Carter is definitely full of life! He loves to be apart of anything we are doing, he loves to play, be silly, try new things, he is learning new things all the time and he surprises me everyday with how smart he is! Talking is finally coming along he still has a handful of things we don't understand but we love to see him interact with everyone lately! He hates shoes and socks! he will wear them but if he had a choice they would always be off! He is still an awesome eater and we still don't give him milk! His favorite meal of the day is breakfast! He has been pretty attached to Dad lately! He knows his letters and numbers and some colors! He loves to do things all by himself no help! He has the cutest laugh and the most contagious smile! He is getting to be funny we are constantly laughing at him! He is all boy! He is solid, not fat not skinny just solid! His white blonde hair is starting to darken up and it makes me so sad! I loved his white hair! He is the biggest tease and also has the biggest heart! He is constantly giving us all loves and giving Mom, Dad and sister plenty of snuggles!

I love the little boy he is turning into! He keeps me on my toes and laughing and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Date Night!

Grandma Jones bought tickets to Mulan and Carter and I went for a fun night out! In fact we actually made a date of it and we had so much fun! Carter kept going up to everyone and saying, "Mom and me date!" He was so so so excited for our date! We headed down early and went out to Costa Vida to eat! Then we headed over to Tuachan and met up with the rest of the clan!

We had so much fun! Carter really enjoyed it which really surprised me he lasted that long! He keeps saying Mom and me go on date! So we will definitely be doing more dates!

Baylee @ 3 Months

I am a little OCD about journaling and having it be in order and not missing anything! So yes I am way behind and it may take me a while to catch up!

Baylee at 3 months! She is still sleeping through the night and takes awesome naps! She loves her sleep! She is still eating every 3 hours, 5 times a day! She is really starting to love her voice! She loves to get her hands out in front of her so she can see them then she will cup them together and they instantly go to her mouth and she will just eat them up and then we have drool everywhere! She loves to be outside, seriously she just gets so happy and almost just super relaxed! Went on our first big vacation! She loves stroller rides! She loves to be held and snuggled! She hates being feed late! Either right on time or early! She loves to watch Carter play and run around! Loves to play peek-a-boo! She giggled for the first time on July 13th and by the end of the month she was starting to giggle out loud a lot! Especially at Carter!

We don't have many pics this month because 2 of those weeks we were on vacation and I already shared those!

She is still so cute even when she is crying! Which isn't very often!
