...A little CELINE...

So for Christmas McKay and Carter had bought me tickets to Celine Dion in Vegas! If anyone knows me they know how much I love her! She has the most amazing natural voice and I have always loved her music! So I was stoked! He got the tickets for the night of my birthday!

We left Friday afternoon and left Carter with Gma Jones and then later that night Gma Wallin picked him up and brought him back home to sleep in his own bed! Be reminded this is the first night I have ever been without Carter and I survived but I think both our Mom's wanted me to stop texting them! I think McKay did to!

We stayed at the Mandalay Bay and had a great room for a great price!

We settled in and then headed to the concert! My awesome husband was such a good sport... Celine is so not his type of music but he came with me and never complained!

After the concert we went out to dinner and enjoyed each others company without Carter... a first!

We got back late and I couldn't keep my eyes open! I am used to going to bed at 10 or 10:30 it was like 1 our time! I was struggling!

The next morning we lazily got up and headed out to breakfast and a little shopping at the strip mall!

I was horrible at taking pictures so this is all I got of us!

~Carter's 1st Haircut~

So we finally decided to cut Carter's hair! It was getting really long so he had these bangs that hung in his eyes! To comb thru the back he would get all irritated because it was all tangled! It was a bittersweet moment for Mom but he still looks so handsome! Aunt Em cut his hair on January 5th, 2013!

At Em's sitting in her chair getting ready for the big event! We gave him the iPad hoping he would not scream as much! Well he didn't scream at all... this kid could have cared less about what Em was doing or not doing!

After she cut the bottom she spiked the top up!

The only thing he hated was when hair would fall on the iPad or get on his hands! He really got bothered with that until we could get it off!

He needed to hold the brush himself so he could wipe the iPad off!

This part I thought hw would really freak but again didn't even notice!

Looking at himself in the mirror and he loves the new look!

So handsome! He looks so much older now!

.:Isaac's 16th Birthday Surprise!:.

Isaac's Birthday was December 30th, so this post is late! His birthday fell on a Sunday this year so the Saturday night before after the Blue and Gold Basketball Tournament held here at the Enterprise High School we threw him a surprise birthday party with a bunch of his friends in the Old Gym!

After the kids grabbed some food we started playing some games!

Next we had folded up  some t-shirts then soaked them in water and froze them! 4 boys had to unroll them and put them on!

Next we played the game where you transfer the orange from neck to neck without using your hands!

Then they had to get the oreo from their forehead to their mouth! No hands!

Then the fastest one to pull out the napkins with one hand and one at a time!

This one you had to put a candy cane in your mouth and grab as many candy canes as you could before a minute was over!

Next they split in two teams and paired up and had to pull their partner up and down the court and then the next couple would go!

Carter really enjoyed this one!

...Carter at 22 Months...

Well we are behind on blogging! Our internet went down so I will hopefully be getting caught up soon!

Carter is still growing like crazy! This last month he has learned some more letters... he really loves letters and everywhere we go he will point out letters everywhere! On signs, billboards, pictures and just whatever! He loves to eat and really is a good eater... breakfast is his favorite meal of the day he loves it all but especially eggs! He is starting to say a few more words but if you aren't around him a lot or don't know his lingo you wouldn't understand him! He still loves Moms hair either playing with it with his hands or feet! Yes I said feet! He got his first haircut! It was starting to get so long it would get tangled up and was hanging in his eyes! He still is a tease, he is funny and fun, he is sassy and always making us laugh! He loves to make us laugh... he also loves to wrestle eith Mom and Dad or get tickled by us! He is my drinker! We have to wait to give him drinks when he eats or he will just drink and drink until he is full! He loves all his toys from Christmas still so it was a successful year of buying them... sometimes you never know! He loves to go to Gma Jones' and get babysat every morning! He loves to go on drives, to the park... he asks almost everyday... to bad it is so cold here! He loves cookies! He sleeps really well at night and loves his big boy bed!
