~Gma Ferguson's Funeral~

Well Grandma Ferguson died November 13th peacefully in her sleep! It is sad but she is with her husband and other loved ones and I know I will be able to be with her again someday!

I felt I had a special bond with Gma! I lived with her on a few different occasions and more recently I lived with her and Gpa while I attended my first two years of college! I really got to know and see them in their fullness and I absolutely loved it!

Her funeral was beautiful and she really did so much in life and I look up to her so much! I only wish I could be half the woman she is!

I know this is not a picture I should probably display but it has such a touching story behind it! Carter kept walking up to Gma's casket and wanting to see her and then we would show him and he was really worried about her and wanted to just grab her hand and go play! He kept saying, Hi, Love You, Bye Bye! He couldn't figure out why she kept sleeping! He did act very sad and by the end of the night we had explained to him that she was with Hadlee and everytime we asked where the two of them were he would point to Heaven!

~McKay's 28th Birthday~ Part 2

Well for McKay's birthday we got him tickets to the Jazz/Laker game up at Energy Solutions arena and a nice little getaway up to Park City! We headed up on Wednesday in time to make it to the game! We got some pretty awesome seats row 15 on the lower bowl!

Watching the game! Carter really did so well! He would cheer and point to where the ball was and I think we all had so much fun!

We headed up to Park City and the next morning I got this awesome shot from our window! Yes there are 3 hot tubs and one pool... that you can see! There are actually 6 hot tubs and the pool!

We stayed in the Mountainside Marriot Vacation Club for a super awesome deal! We had a king bed a sofa bed and a mini kitchen!

On Thursday after breakfast and we got ready we headed to Hogle Zoo! Carter really enjoyed it!

The first animal we got to see were these monkeys who were totally showing off! As you can kinda tell in the pic they were right up on the glass climbing from side to side!

Carter loved that they were showing off for him!

He also loved the seals and sea lions! They were showing off as well which are the animals that Carter likes the best!

Carter also loved the bears and is about as big as that black bear!

The giraffes were showing us how tall they were! There is a size chart on the side of each of the doors they were standing by! Don't ask me what my boys are looking at!

The tiger was also showing off, he was pacing back and forth and kept licking his lips!

This was probably Carter's most favorite! He didn't want to get off! He started on the baby giraffe!

And ended on the jaguar! He had the biggest smile on his face the whole time!

We Love the Zoo!

We headed back to our room! He fell asleep about 10 minutes into the drive! He also got a wolf as a keepsake! He loves this wolf!

After Carter woke up we went to eat some lunch and did a little shopping! Spoiling Carter and getting some Christmas done!

Then it was swimming time!!!

He loved pushing the buttons for the elevator!

The bonus to having 6 hot tubs is that they had 2 hot tubs that were specifically for kids and pregnant woman! Basically a warm bath! It was perfect for us!

We got back to our room ordered some pizza then got Carter ready for bed!

He discovered he could climb in and out of the drawers!

That night we heard Utah was in for snow in most areas and rain! So we got up first thing the next morning and headed home! By the time we left around 9ish there were already 2 inches and still coming down heavily! Park City ended up getting 14 inches by the end of the night!

We had a blast and wish we could do this more often! Definitely happy we could get out with just our little family! We needed it!

~McKay's 28th Birthday~ Part 1

The Saturday before McKay's birthday we invited both families over for ice cream cake!

Carter loved all the candles on the cake!

Carter couldn't have ice cream so he had a cupcake cone! He absolutely loved it!
