Amanda's Birthday Weekend!

My family is awesome! They sure spoiled me on my birthday!
The morning started off pretty chill we just were lazily getting ready, ate a late breakfast and watched a movie when we got a knock at the door! Where 2 beautiful girls were standing with balloons and a plate with treats! Carter loved blowing out the candles!
The 2 awesome girls playing with my kids!
Carter, Maddie, Josie and Baylee!
After they visited for a while we just played!
Carter, McKay and Baylee playing peek a boo!
Peek A Boo!
Then we got another knock at the door! This time I was in the bathroom getting ready and only had my garments on so I ran to my room when my sister came running in to greet me with a huge hug! Seriously I was so surprised and had absolutely no idea! So I hurry and go dressed so I could go visit with Scott to! I was so happy to see her! She must love me a little to drive 7 hours to visit her sister on her birthday! Soon after she got there my parents came to join the party!
Carter LOVED having Sam and Scott there! He really loves them!
Everyone hanging out while I finished getting ready since I was having a slow morning!
Carter loving on Sam! Isn't my sister so beautiful!?!
After I got ready my sister had a gift for me that made me cry... she had a beautiful scrapbook of Hadlee! It had everything in it to ultrasound pictures, to hospital pics, to funeral pics, her obituary, flowers people gave us to her hand and feet prints and so much more! It was so beautiful and Carter loved seeing all the pictures and I loved his interest in it!
After we headed to St. George to eat and play some mini golf!
My beautiful sister, beautiful daughter and I before we hopped in the cars to head!
We ate at Sakura and it was absolutely delicious!
Carter had just woken up from a nap and was having a rough time getting going!
Carter's favorite thing about the whole eating experience!
Trying the chopsticks out!
My beautiful family!
After dinner we headed Fiesta Fun and played some mini golf! Carter liked running around more than the actual golfing but still had a ton of fun!
Carterman golfing!
The 3 stooges!
Playing in the arcade after we golfed! Carter did really well and we actually walked out with a decent toy and some candy!
After, McKay took our car to get ice cream! YUM!
When we got to Enterprise we headed to Grandma Wallin's and watched Planes!
Comfy couch!
My beautiful kids ready for church!
Hanging out with Aunt Sam Sunday afternoon after church! We totally just had a chilled day and Mom made my chosen birthday dinner and it did not disappoint!
Sunday night Carter had a sleepover with Sam and he loved it! Monday we headed over to my Mom's and we just played and talked and we had a great time! I was so happy she came to visit and I was so sad she left!
Thanks to my awesome family for a great weekend! I had a blast!

Carter Lately!

This is carter from about mid November to Mid January !Carter is the best kid ever! He brings so much joy, laughter and happiness into our family and lives! He is smart, funny, silly, polite, a tease and a bit of a sass! He is very independent but also loves to snuggle and love! He is a risk taker and loves the outdoors and loves friends! A friend to him is any kid around his age that will play with him! He LOVES Baylee! He protects her and helps her... no one can be mean to her but him! When I say mean it's just the occasional pushing her away when she is about to grab his toy or wrestling her to the ground because she giggles and he loves when she laughs! He is a talking machine and picks up on everything McKay and I say!
He loves all the high school students especially when they come play with him and let him tag along!
Swimming with the boys basketball team at a tournament in Richfield!
We have stayed in a lot of hotels lately and so anytime we drive somewhat far he asks to go to the hotel so he can swim!
Loading our luggage in!
Helping Dad put up Christmas lights!
Having a leaf throwing fight with Dad!
Still loves baths and loves his Sully towel!
Watching a 3D movie... this was the only time he wore he glasses!
Night out bowling!
Carter saw the dinosaur at the Sinclair gas station we stopped at and had to go sit on him! He thought this dinosaur was pretty awesome!
Building Forts with Mom and Sister!
Walking to church! We love living so close to church that we are able to walk on these beautiful mornings!
So exhausted! Love the hands behind his head... he sleeps like most the time if he is laying on his back!
Carter loves playing with his cousins and he especially has a love for Lyndon!
Playing with cousin Lyndon!
Always finding him in weird positions!
He loves loves loves to read books! Especially right before nap time!
More book reading!
We finally got some snow the first of December and he had to go play in it so we suited up and off he went!
Had way to much fun!
Loved falling and jumping in the snow!
Did not like it going down his jacket and on his neck!
Rocking the no pants and Mike slippers!
Ready to go to another hotel!
Finally got a sled to ride in!
Thought these big blocks of ice were pretty cool! he has muscle!
Was getting sister out of the bath when I discovered this...
Guess that's one way to play his LeapPad!
Always picking at his lips! Won't let us put chapstick on!
We love snuggle time!
He loves doing puzzles and is getting so awesome at putting them together!
Playing with his friend Jaxon at the girls basketball game!
Trying on Santa's hat!
HO HO HO!
He loves watching movies! Any movie! Who better to watch with then his buddies Josie and Maddie!
Not sure he is loving being awake! So back to sleep he went!
Sitting over the heater trying to get warm!
So we have tried potty training this kid several times! It has been really hard because McKay and I were always working and I felt bad asking Teddi to do it because she has 5 kids she is watching all very young! So finally I told McKay Christmas Break is the time! He was waking up dry night after night and we were just ready! So the first day of Chirstmas break we started the process and it went awesome! By Chirstmas Eve we were in big boy underwear all day and all night! He did so awesome! He was finally as ready as we were! We have had 2 accidents at night since then but for a month and a half almost 2 months that's not bad at all! We are so proud of him!
Put him down for a nap with no pants and when I went back to open his door so he could start waking up I found this! Took off the underwear... at least he was being modest enough to cover up! HAHA!
Loves reading books with Dad!
Playing the drums as we sing at Grandma Wallin's house!
He is sure fun to have around! We love this kid so much! Life would be dull without him!
